🐾 Mackenzie

Founder & CEO

Mackenzie has always had a love for animals but knew immediately after starting her apprenticeship in 2012 that this was her passion. Her goals include educating pet owners and professionals about the ins and outs of sedation-free teeth cleaning and helping aid others to do the same.

In 2017, she founded Coastal Canines Teeth Cleaning, and today the company spans Vancouver Island, the Lower Mainland, Cariboo, Okanagan, and Kootenay regions, offering sedation-free dental care.
What began as a one-woman operation has grown into a trusted provincial brand. Mackenzie’s vision for Coastal Canines continues to evolve — from expanding mobile clinics to developing a full line of enzymatic oral care products, all created with the same dedication to safety, quality, and compassion that built her company’s reputation.

Mobile Assistant

Brittany brings a calm, compassionate energy to every clinic she joins. Based in Quesnel, she’s known for her gentle touch and natural connection with animals — qualities inspired by her two beloved Chihuahuas, Carita and Esme. Whether she’s assisting during our northern BC clinics or helping clients feel at ease, Brittany embodies the Coastal Canines standard of care: kind, ethical, and always focused on creating a positive experience for every dog she meets.

Brittany joined Coastal Canines in 2025 and can’t wait to see where this journey takes her.

🐾Paulina

Senior Teeth Cleaner and Events Oranizer

Many of you have already met her in Vancouver, and if you have… you already know. Calm, capable, and incredibly skilled with the dogs. She brings a level of consistency and care that this work truly demands.

As we grow, it matters who we trust to lead. Paulina isn’t just part of the team, she’s helping shape it. From supporting clinical standards in the field to organizing and coordinating our host locations and events across BC, she’s a huge part of what keeps everything running smoothly.

This next chapter is all about growing the team the right way, and we’re really excited to have her be part of it 💫

Senior Teeth Cleaner and Events Oranizer

We’re so happy to have Heidi with us as part of the Coastal Canines team 🦷✨

Heidi brings a gentle, patient approach to every dog she works with, creating a calm and positive experience from start to finish. She has a natural ability to read each dog’s comfort level and adjust her handling to make the process as stress-free as possible.

While she’ll only be with us for a short time, we’re truly grateful to have her as part of the team during this season. Her care, attention to detail, and kindness with the dogs make a lasting impression.
