She has not had her teeth cleaned in a couple years even though we brush them often. Mackenzie and the team was compassionate of her giant size and arthritis. They also sent us a detailed report of which teeth were cracked, worn down, and were difficult to clean. I am so happy with their service and would recommend them to all of my clients' dog owners. As a business owner myself I understand when an exceptional value service is provided! This is it for those that want to avoid sedation for dental.Posted on Google Mehran Seyed EmamiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Coastal Canines provided a great experience from start to finish. Mackenzie, the owner, was incredibly responsive, clear, and helpful, making everything feel smooth and well-organized. At the Vancouver location, Heidi and Paulina cleaned my GSPs, Lola and Noghreh’s teeth with so much care, patience, and attention to detail. They were kind, respectful, and transparent throughout, taking the time to explain everything and making sure I felt comfortable. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs they work with. Lola and Noghreh were treated so gently, and the entire experience felt calm, professional, and trustworthy. It’s also great that they operate across BC, making this level of care more accessible. Highly recommend. Thank you all again 🙏🙌Posted on Google Jennifer LesageTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a great service. This was my first time having my al.ost 5 year old dog Jack's teeth done and he certainly had tartar build up. I really enjoyed how the company travels around BC and was able to service our small.community in BC. There was an initial assessment to ensure Jack would be a good candidate and less then an hour later his teeth where sparkling clean. He had such a positive experience, we didn't have to deal with any of the negative affects of sedation and a fraction of the cost of going the traditional route through a vet. Very pleased with the service, cost and work of the lovely young lady who has started this thriving business ensuring that dogs all across BC in small and big communities are receiving top notch service. What a difference - my doggo's teeth look so nice and clean - she's a big girl, a rescue and a bit nervous with strangers, but they were so very good with her. This will be an annual appointment. Everyone was very friendly and caring, and not only was the cost literally 1/10 the cost of a vet tooth clean - the work they did was fantastic. No disrespect to what a vet does; this isn't intended to replace a vet visit to address real dental problems - this is a great way to maintain your dog's dental health BEFORE problems happen. I highly recommend Costal Canines! Sookie’s before and after belowPosted on Google Lorene GilesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing work! Formally called K9 Gentle Dental - I believe they are under a new name and ownership now. I have taken my Morkie for cleanings at various downtown Vancouver locations 4-5 times now. Always a good experience. Small dogs are very prone to dental decay - I wish I had been better about brushing his teeth daily when he was younger. I’ve done professional vet dental work two or three times, but it can be risky putting your pup under general anesthesia, especially small dogs as their tracheas are very small. My dog ended up with trachea and coughing issues afterwards and I’m scared to get it done again. I would recommend Coastal Canines Teeth Cleaning twice a year, in addition to regular brushing at home, especially for small dogs. That’s probably the number one thing I wish I had done for my pup when he was younger. On another note after my last appointment my dog was limping afterwards - I called them to see if something had happened during his apt. Heidi was very caring on the phone and assured me they would cover the bill if he needed to see a vet. He was back to normal after a few hours. I really appreciated Heidi’s response to my call - it showed they really care about the dogs. She also followed up with me by email to check in on him. His teeth look brand new and we avoided having to sedate him for a cleaning!
- 5-star care, from consultation to clean.
